As one of the largest foam warbird models ever to be released to market, the E-flite® Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m has proven to be a high performer over a long period of time with similar-sized models of any material unable to match this foam Trojan. By popular demand, the latest version of the E-flite® Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m has been released and it is the easiest to fly and smartest version yet. This version is suited to a wider variety of pilots due to its flying ease, functional flaps and reliable retracts.

Smarter, easy-to-fly T-28 Trojan 2.0m RC warbird

The Smart technology on the E-flite® Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m comes in the form of the 70A Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC which delivers real-time, full-range telemetry data including battery voltage, current, RPM and more whether you are using Smart of non-Smart batteries. You also need to be using a compatible receiver to receive the Smart data and the Spektrum AR6378TA that comes with the BNF version is such a receiver. You will also need a Spektrum AirWare-equipped transmitter. The brushless outrunner motor is compatible with a number of LiPo batteries in the 6S 3200-7000mAh range. If you go with a 3200mAh you can keep the overall weight down, a 5000mAh will give you a great balance between handling and performance while a 7000mAh LiPo will give you flight times of up to 10 to 15 minutes and sometimes longer depending on the conditions.

The airframe on the E-flite® Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m is now painted in a highly visible yellow finish and comes with additional decals so you can customize the finished look to your liking. The EPO foam used in the exclusive Carbon-Z construction provides a rigidity similar to a wooden airframe but is far more lightweight giving you brilliant handling and airborne performance. The durability of EPO foam also means it can take a few knocks and bumps and still fly plus it is also easier to repair.

E-flite T-28 Trojan 2.0m

A pilot figure with a simulated instrument panel in the cockpit and the replica radial engine fitted to the cowl are just some of the scale detail built into the E-flite® Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m to give it the authentic warbird feel. If you want to hit the skies at night the Trojan now comes fitted with LED landing and navigation lights to improve upon your scale experience. The two-piece wing is easily assembled and dismantled for convenient transport and storage and there is also no glue required during the assembly process.

Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Version

The BNF version of the E-flite® Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m is fitted with the optional use of SAFE Select and AS3X technologies that make your flying experience that much easier. When you choose to engage SAFE Select it puts in place bank angle and pitch limits plus self-levelling that can be turned on and off with the flick of a switch. AS3X is always on and works in the background to smooth out the effects of turbulence and wind to give you a locked-in feel while flying.
