Fitted with exclusive Spektrum SAFE Select and AS3X technologies the E-flite UMX Air Tractor BNF Basic is a perfect low-wing model for pilots at an intermediate or above level. The optional use of SAFE Select gives pilots an automatic self-levelling function in case they get into trouble as well as pitch and bank angle limits that can all be turned on and off with the flick of a switch. The AS3X technology is built into the receiver which works behind the scenes making lots of tiny adjustments to smooth out the effects of turbulence and wind giving you a locked-in feel that gives a sense of flying a much larger RC crop-duster. The Spektrum receiver and ESC equipped in the control unit/flight controller of the E-flite UMX Air Tractor BNF Basic are capable of providing the pilot with real-time flight battery voltage telemetry data when Spektrum AirWare has been equipped to a compatible transmitter which includes DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX14, iX20 and others.  

With a 3-blade prop and a specially tuned motor the E-flite UMX Air Tractor, BNF Basic can give you excellent sport aerobatic or scale flight performance with a 2S 280-300mAh LiPo attached. Or you can beef up the power by attaching a 3S LiPo as the Air Tractor remote control plane is compatible with both. You can maximize flight time with some slow cruising, or, switch to "wild” flight with unlimited vertical performance and hovering without having to make any modifications. 

Micro size and STOL capabilities mean more spaces and places to fly

Slow speed handling and STOL capability are improved with functional flaps and because it is another superb scale flyer in the ultra-micro range, the E-flite UMX Air Tractor RC plane can be flown in smaller spaces and places including backyards, your local oval or large indoor facilities. There are oversized tyres fitted to the Air Tractor meaning you can fly from and land on a number of different surfaces.
